The NOAA series of satellites are
polar orbiting, making one complete orbit around the earth every 100 minutes.
Due to the rotation of the earth each orbit covers a different area.
The image above is a sample from one of Dundee's quicklook images, a
reduced resolution version of the data transmitted from the satellite.
Dundee maintains an archive of all data received from 1978 to the
