Windows 3.0/3.1 version notes This program is still being developed. Basic functionality is, however, provided. This program should work on any PC that runs Windows. (It's been tested with Windows 3.0 and Windows 3.1) Please report any problems with the program by email to lh@unixa.nerc-dundee.ac.uk. Any other problems/suggestions on the quicklook data service to asm@unixa.dundee.ac.uk Limitations: File conversion/data export (i.e. saving images as PCX, TIFF, BMP files) is limited to BMP format at the moment. Known problems: You MUST transfer the text file in BINARY mode. The program will crash if you FTP the text file as an ASCII file! (Silly, I know) The program looks for images with an extention .RAS You MUST transfer both the .GRD and .TXT files and these MUST have the same NAME. e.g. IMAGE.GRD and IMAGE.TXT At the moment the files must be named: NAME.RAS (for the image file) NAME.GRD (for the grid file) NAME.TXT (for the text file) (The GRD and TXT files MUST HAVE THE SAME NAME) The final release of this program will use the following naming convention: NAME.* (for the IMAGE files) {rasterfile format implicit} NAME.GRD (for the grid file) NAME.TXT (for the text file)
