A large swathe of England, Wales and mainland Europe are predominantly cloud free. Smoke plumes from wildfires on Saddleworth Moor, Greater Manchester and the Cwm Rheidol area of Mid Wales can be seen. Haar is evident along areas of the United Kingdom’s North Sea coast. Aircraft contrails are visible south-west of the British Isles. Thunderstorms are also apparent south-west of the UK and Ireland and over eastern Spain. Algal blooms and sediment from river run-off colour bodies of water.
