Dust storms can be seen over Eastern Morocco and Western Algeria. Lee waves and cloud streets are visible over the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa. Sediment from river runoff discolours coastal waters most noticeably in the Gulf of Cadiz (off the south-west coast of the Iberian Peninsula) from the River Guadalquivir (South-west Spain).
