When this image was acquired the Joint Typhoon Warning Centre reported that 21 P was tracking in a south, south easterly direction approximately 475 miles east south east of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea with a 1-minute sustained average wind speed of 35 knots (40.3 mph) and gusts of 45 knots (51.8 mph).
