A large swathe of Central and Southern Europe is fog covered. A dense concentration of aircraft contrails is visible over Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Hungary, Romania and Serbia in fog which is sandwiched between the Alps, Dinaric Alps and the Carpathian mountains. Smoke plumes can be seen from fires in the Balkans.
