This infrared image shows the wintry storm that brought extensive flooding to the Ottery St Mary area of East Devon. The BBC reported that approximately 1 foot (0.3 m) of hail fell between 0100 UTC and 0300 UTC and this coupled with heavy rain and snow caused floodwaters to reach 4 ft (1.2 m).
