The island of Jan Mayen is casting a cloud vortex street. An area of low pressure is centred off North West Norway and ice cover can be seen in the Gulf of Bothnia.

There is fog cover in the Po valley and around the coast of Italy. The island of Pantelleria, situated southwest of Sicily, in the Strait of Sicily is shedding a cloud vortex street. Mount Etna is venting south eastwards over the Mediterranean Sea. Cloud streets can be seen north of the Alps.

A cloud vortex street can be seen emanating from the Island of Madeira and lee waves are visible from the Desertas Islands and Porto Santo Island.

The fjords of a snow covered Eastern Greenland are ice bound and areas of land fast and pack ice are visible off and along the coast. The island of Jan Mayen which is surrounded by cloud streets is casting a cloud vortex.

This image shows a cloud vortex street over the Aegean Sea. Fog, low cloud and snow covered mountain regions can be seen in areas of the Balkans. Coastline water discolouration is due to sediment from river runoff.

A small cyclonic cloud circulation is visible off the Adriatic coast of Italy's Abruzzo, Molise and Puglia regions. There are areas of fog and low cloud in Italy, Austria, Slovenia and the Balkans. A large plume of Saharan dust is being blown over the Mediterranean Sea.
