The Dundee Satellite Receiving Station webpages are designed to be compliant with established web standards.
Whilst we attempt to test our pages on a variety of browsers and to find and fix compatibility issues which arise, we do recommend that our users access our site with modern, standards-compliant web browsers such as current versions of:
- Google Chrome - Available for Windows, Mac, Linux and iOS
- Mozilla Firefox - Available for Windows, Mac and Linux
- Opera - Available for Windows, Mac, Linux, Solaris, Android, iOS, and others
- Safari - Available for Windows, Mac and iOS
- Internet Explorer - Available for Windows only
Users should note in particular that we no longer support Internet Explorer version 6. It is now a very old browser (released in 2001) and has numerous well-documented bugs and incompatibilities not to mention security vulnerabilities.
Users of Internet Explorer 6 (and earlier versions) may find that some pages do not display correctly and should upgrade to the latest version of Internet Explorer, or use one of the other modern browsers listed above.
